Trailer Loading Verification

In high volume shipping situations, loading outbound freight into the wrong trailer is an easy error to make.  Fortunately, it is also an easy error to detect and prevent.  The Mantis Operator Interface system  inspects every carton to assure that UPS freight is not loaded in a Fed Ex trailer or a DHL trailer. If an error is detected, audible, visual and control line outputs are made.

In the integrated system shown above, the Mantis Operator Interface is paired with unattended overhead omni-directional an bar code scanners to guarantee that freight is conveyed into the correct carrier’s trailer.  Alarms are sounded and the conveyor stops if the system detects an error is about to occur.
