Material Handling Controller

The Mantis Operator Interface has been used as a low cost material handling controller.  The Mantis relay outputs are available for use to actuate a conveyor divert based upon significant digits in a bar code or a “look up” table.  For example, if store digits are imbedded in a bar code and a look up table is built into the Mantis, a simple go / no-go decision can be made.

The Mantis is paired with an unattended bar code scanner to sort finished products to palletizing area by reading UPC case codes.
